Chicken Inn FC Faces Disciplinary Hearing

Chicken Inn FC has been summoned to appear before the Premier Soccer League ( Disciplinary Committee following the dramatic abandonment of their Castle Lager Premier Soccer League clash against Scotlland FC.

The incident occurred on Friday, 23 May 2025, at Rufaro Stadium, casting a shadow over what was expected to be a competitive fixture.

In a statement, league authorities outlined the charges against Chicken Inn FC. “The charges against Chicken Inn FC include disorderly conduct, failure by players and officials to comply with lawful orders, disturbing the normal proceedings of a match and causing the abandonment of the match,”

 

The incident has triggered concern over discipline and conduct within the league, and the PSL is taking a firm stance. George Majika, a player for Chicken Inn FC, has also been personally summoned to face the Disciplinary Committee.

 

The league cited “allegations of disorderly conduct and failure to comply with lawful orders” as grounds for his individual hearing.
