Seven Players Suspended Ahead Matchday 19

PSL has confirmed the suspension of seven players ahead of Matchday 19 fixtures. The suspensions come as a result of either the accumulation of two yellow cards or a straight red card during recent matches.

Among those sidelined is Abel Gwatidzo of Dynamos FC, who will miss their upcoming clash against Herentals College FC.

Chicken Inn FC will also be without defender Itai Mabhunu when they face Yadah FC. However, Yadah FC will have to make do without Sonny Kevin Mewali, who is also suspended, making this a potentially balanced setback for both sides.

Ngezi Platinum Stars FC will face GreenFuel FC without the services of Talent Chamboko. The midfielder’s suspension is a blow for a team aiming to maintain pressure on the league leaders.

Simba Bhora FC the defending champions, the most affected club this week, will go into their tie against ZPC Kariba FC without two of their players – Isheanesu Mauchi and William Thole. The double suspension could stretch the club’s depth as they try to secure vital points at home.

Manica Diamonds FC are also hit by suspension, losing Lawrence Masibera for their tough encounter against FC Platinum.

With the season entering its second half, every point becomes critical, and missing key players could shape the destiny of several clubs in the weeks ahead.
