The 22nd China Medical Team joined Zimbabwean partners to promote health and safety during the International Boy’s Day celebrations in Epworth, Harare.
The team provided medical support for a charity fun run and offered free health services to local residents, practicing cross-border collaboration in public health.
During the event, the medical team divided into two groups: one to manage on-site emergencies for athletes and spectators, treating minor injuries and heat-related issues, and the other to man a temporary free clinic, delivering consultations, basic treatments, and medicines for common illnesses.
The initiative reflects ongoing efforts to strengthen health cooperation between China and Zimbabwe, focusing on practical community needs and knowledge-sharing. By combining event safety with accessible care, the event highlighted the value of the China-Zimbabwe partnership in improving public health outcomes.
