A couple from Zengeza 3 in Chitungwiza left the corpse of the wife's lover in their house and fled the scene, This was after the husband fatally stabbed a man he found locked up with his wife in his bedroom on Tuesday night.
According to the police, Ellington Gadzikwa got home and found the bedroom door locked. It was around 7pm.
Gadzikwa then persuaded his wife to open the door.

When the door was opened, Gadzikwa immediately slipped inside.
He then locked himself in with his wife and an unidentified male.
Gadzikwa who had armed himself with a kitchen knife stabbed the now deceased male.
“After the incident, the suspect fled with his wife and left the victim lying in a pool of blood in an unlocked room,” said in the statement.
The police have repeatedly called on all people to settle their difference peacefully.
