A Harare man being accused of murdering a Zesa Holdings attachee has been remanded in custody to 13 December, 2022.
Tafadzwa Chirisa (29) appeared before the Harare Magistrates’ Court charged with murder as defined in Section (47)(1)(a) of the Criminal Law Codification and Reform Act Chapter 9:23.
The court heard that on 4 November, 2022, in Harare, Chirisa teamed up with five other accomplices and assaulted Tinotenda Chipunza (26) with sticks.

Chirisa and his accomplices caught Chipunza at 0700 hours at number 12 Haron Drive, Ridgeview, Belvedere in Harare where he had entered without permission.
He was caught and assaulted to death.
Magistrate Dennis Mangosi, who presided over the matter, advised Chirisa to approach the High Court for bail application because of the magnitude of the crime he is being accused of.
