A Chitungwiza man today killed the two year-old son of his ex-lover by bashing the child’s head on the floor in what has emerged as revenge for the man’s arrest following issuance of a protection order against him.

Around 6am today, Simba Machipisa, 32, popularly known as “Mabhutsu” due to his love for martial arts, arrived at his ex-lover’s house in her absence.
The lover’s teenage daughter opened the door for him after he reportedly claimed to be the uncle.
Once inside, he sat on a sofa and summoned the deceased little boy, who innocently and trustingly went to him.
Meanwhile, the teen girl had retreated to the bedroom to prepare for holiday school.
To her horror, nn returning to the living room she found Machipisa throttling her kid brother.
Thereafter, Machipisa started bashing the child’s head on the floor, resulting in Truth foaming at the mouth.
The teen, after realizing that she could not save her little brother from Machipisa’s murderous rage, sought help.
Neighbors quickly moved in and rescued the hapless toddler.
But it was too late for Truth who was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital.
Neighbors tied up Machipisa to await police arrival.
He is now in custody at St Mary’s Police Station. The body of the deceased child, Truth was taken to Chitungwiza Central Hospital mortuary.
According to sources, Machipisa residing at Number 7 Mukomberwa Street in Zengeza 1, a stone’s throw from the scene of the grisly murder was the lover Nomsa Sengwe, 32, mother to the deceased boy.
The two are said to have been in a relationship for some 14 months.
But Machipisa’s violent nature led to Sengwe ending the relationship and seeking a peace order against him.
Machipisa is said to have repeatedly breached the court order, harassing Sengwe at her residence at Number 25 Danga vandalizing the property by breaking windows and causing other damage.
He is said to have once threatened to burn down the room in which Sengwe and her children were sleeping.
This compelled Sengwe to have Machipisa arrested and jailed.
He was released three weeks ago and reportedly immediately sent word around for people to tell his ex-girlfriend that he was back and that she should expect retribution from him for what she had done to him.
