A Chivhu resident shot dead a suspected robber who had broken into their house, the police have said.
“The victim was shot after breaking into the complainant’s house and was accompanied by his accomplice who escaped. Anyone with information to report at any nearest Police Station,” the police said.
The deceased is a male adult and the police are appealing for information which may assist with identification. The shooting occurred on March 18.
The dead man has accomplices who fled when the homeowner fired.
