Zim records cholera death

Zimbabwe has recorded cholera death, which has been confirmed by Ministry of Health and Child Care, following the outbreak of the disease in the country.

According to the MoHCC Situational Report on March 20, 2023, there were 15 new suspected cases and four laboratory confirmed cases.

“These were reported from Mbire (10), Chimanimani (3) and Beitbridge (2). As of 20 March 2023, seven cases have been hospitalised. These are admitted at Beitbridge District Hospital CTC (3), in Mat South Province, Bikita District CTC (1) Masvingo Province, Thorngrove Hospital (1) Bulawayo, Chimanimani District (1) Manicaland Province, and Chidodo Clinic (1), CTC, Mbire District, Mashonaland Central Province.

Mozambique and Malawi have recorded confirmed cases as well as deaths while Zimbabwe.
