A 29-year-old Mudzi man appeared the Mutoko Magistrates’ Court on Friday on allegations of killing his neighbour with a hoe handle.
Lickson Tsaboka was not asked to plead to a murder charge and magistrate Elijah Sibanda remanded him in custody, advising him to apply for bail at High Court.
Prosecuting, Nathan Majuru said on February 2, Tsaboka assaulted Stubborn Chikira all over the body with a hoe handle, accusing him of causing the death of his relative before.
Chikira succumbed to the injuries of the assault.
