Public signal distributor Transmedia Corporation has reinforced its commitment to ethical governance, with its Board of Directors and executive management signing formal integrity pledges to bolster transparency, accountability, and anti-corruption measures.
The initiative aligns with broader efforts to strengthen public trust and ensure the state enterprise operates in full compliance with regulatory standards and national values.
Speaking on the initiative, Transmedia Chief Executive Officer, Engineer Adonia Mushosho, emphasized that the pledges mark a shift in organizational culture rather than a passive exercise.
"We have committed ourselves as the Transmedia Board and senior management to uphold the highest standards of ethics and behavior," Eng. Mushosho said. "We are not taking this as a mere event—it is our culture. We aim to promote absolute transparency, free of corruption."

The Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission (ZACC) commended the move, highlighting that embedding integrity frameworks within state bodies is critical for corruption prevention.
ZACC Principal Compliance and Systems Review Officer, Princewell Magobeya, noted the personal accountability required by public officers.
"Integrity pledges serve as a reminder that we owe it to our souls to choose to do the right thing, even when no one is watching," Magobeya said.
He added that organizations adopting these frameworks, backed by dedicated integrity committees, have demonstrated measurable improvements in governance and institutional compliance.
As the national public signal distributor, Transmedia reaffirmed that high ethical standards remain essential to fulfilling its core mandate of delivering reliable, impartial broadcasting services across Zimbabwe.
