Zimbabwe’s Ambassador to Mozambique and the Kingdom of Eswatini, Dr Victor Matemadanda, has died.
The announcement was made on Sunday morning by Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services, Nick Mangwana, who said the diplomat passed away on Saturday night.

Matemadanda had been serving as Zimbabwe’s Ambassador to the Republic of Mozambique and the Kingdom of Eswatini, representing President Emmerson Mnangagwa in his diplomatic role.
His death has been described as a significant loss to the nation, with condolences extended to President Mnangagwa, his family, friends, colleagues and all those who worked with him.
