Socialite 'Jack' Accused of Online Campaign Against Mai Titi

A Harare socialite popularly known as "Jack" is facing allegations of orchestrating a sustained online campaign targeting socialite and musician Mai Titi and another woman through a series of social media posts and messages containing offensive and defamatory claims.

Patricia Jeke, widely known as "Jack", is accused of publishing statements on Facebook, TikTok and WhatsApp in which she allegedly labelled the two women with derogatory names, made allegations about their personal lives and issued threatening messages.

The allegations emerged before the Harare Magistrates' Court, where the State outlined two counts of cyber bullying against Jeke.

According to the prosecution, the first complainant is socialite and musician Mai Titi, whose real name is Felistas Murata.

The State alleges that during 2025, Jeke posted videos and messages on Facebook and TikTok in which she referred to Murata as a prostitute and a thief. Prosecutors further allege that she claimed to have been romantically involved with Murata's husband and made derogatory remarks directed at the complainant.

The court heard that Jeke allegedly visited Murata's residence and left soiled clothes and used tissues underneath a bed. Following the incident, prosecutors say she allegedly went live on Facebook and described Murata as a witch and a thief.

The State also alleges that Jeke made offensive comments about Murata's daughters, claiming that one was a lesbian while the other was involved in prostitution.

In a separate count, prosecutors allege that Jeke targeted Ziwange Shingirayi Wishes through WhatsApp and social media platforms.

The State says the dispute began on February 9, 2026, when Jeke allegedly sent a WhatsApp message accusing Ziwange of making comments about her on Facebook.

After Ziwange denied the allegations, prosecutors say Jeke allegedly responded with threatening messages, including the words: "Hausi kundiziva, uri kunditora zvishoma."

The State further alleges that Jeke later published a series of social media posts claiming that Ziwange was involved in extramarital affairs.

According to the prosecution, she also allegedly claimed that Ziwange was transgender, that her husband was gay and that she had used witchcraft to cause the death of her husband's child.

Prosecutors additionally allege that Jeke published claims that Ziwange was HIV-positive and receiving antiretroviral treatment.

The State requested more time to allow the investigating officer to testify during bail proceedings and to verify Jeke's previous convictions.

The matter was postponed to Thursday for continuation of bail proceedings.
