Hofisi Thriving in Division One After PSL Exit

Former Triangle United FC and TelOne FC striker Leo Anashe Hofisi says life outside the Premier Soccer League is far from a downfall, insisting Division One football is proving to be just as demanding and competitive.

Hofisi, who once rubbed shoulders with top-flight stars during his spells at TelOne in 2024 and Triangle in 2026, is now leading the line for West Nicholson FC in the Central Region Soccer League.

While many players view a move from the PSL to Division One as a step backwards, Hofisi believes the lower league has its own pressure and intensity.

"I am not playing in the top-flight league, but there is serious competition here in Division One,” said Hofisi.

The striker also revealed that life at West Nicholson has exceeded expectations, praising the club for maintaining professional standards and taking good care of its players.
