ZSE Announces Commencement of Trading in Tanganda Letters of Allocation

Trading in the Letters of Allocation for Tanganda Tea Company Limited will officially begin on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange has announced.

In a public notice, the ZSE said the move follows resolutions passed at an Extraordinary General Meeting and is in line with a circular issued to Tanganda shareholders.

“Shareholders are hereby advised that trading in the Tanganda Letters of Allocation will commence on Tuesday, 24 February 2026,” the ZSE said.

The exchange noted that special measures will be put in place on the first day of trading to ensure orderly market activity.

“On the first day of trading, circuit breakers will be opened to facilitate efficient and orderly price discovery,” the notice read.

According to the ZSE, trading in the Letters of Allocation will be time-bound and will close in mid-March.

“Trading in the Letters of Allocation will close on Tuesday, 17 March 2026, in strict accordance with the timetable set out in the Circular to Shareholders dated 27 January 2026,” the exchange said.

The notice was issued on behalf of the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange by Group Chief Executive Officer Justin Bgoni.

The ZSE advised stakeholders seeking further clarification to contact its operations team through its official communication channels.
