Harare socialite Apphia Nyasha Musabayana is facing a US$500,000 defamation lawsuit filed by social media personality Madam Boss, following alleged harassment online.

The legal action comes after Musabayana reportedly launched a series of attacks against Madam Boss on social media, including contacting her husband, Ngoni Munetsiwa, and alleging an affair with her boyfriend, known online as Kelvin or Apple Papi.
Musabayana is also accused of spreading claims that Madam Boss was involved in extramarital relationships with four men associated with the ruling Zanu PF party.
In a letter delivered through her lawyer, Admire Rubaya, Madam Boss warned that criminal charges are also being prepared against Musabayana for violating cyberbullying laws.
