The Harare Magistrates' Court has issued a warrant of arrest for content creator Admire Mushambi, also known as Mama Vee, for failing to appear as a witness in the E-Creator fraud trial.
The case involves Zhao Jiaotong, accused of defrauding over 670 people of more than US$364 000.
According to the State, Zhao allegedly used social media platforms, including Facebook, to advertise the scheme and lure investors.
Another content creator, Cleopatra Tarisai Munetsiwa (Madam Boss), testified in court, saying she was introduced to E-Creator by Mama Vee. She said she went on to do a Facebook Live broadcast promoting the scheme because she believed it was a legitimate business after visiting E-Creator offices with her manager.
She stated that she lost US$100 that she had invested and did not benefit from the scheme.
The matter has been to October 20, 2025, for trial continuation.
