The Chipinge Magistrates’ Court has convicted two men, aged 22 and 24, for indecently assaulting an 18-year-old woman.
The incident occurred on August 18, 2025, when the victim was walking home from a nearby tuckshop.
According to court proceedings, the offenders hurled insults at the victim before chasing and tripping her to the ground. While one pinned her down, the other fondled her breasts.

The victim managed to escape and sought help from a nearby homestead.
The duo was sentenced to 12 months in prison, with four months suspended on condition of good behaviour.
The remaining eight months were suspended on condition that they perform 208 hours of community service.
