Promotion battle reaches fever pitch in Division One

 

The battle for promotion to the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League is intensifying, with all four Division One regions witnessing thrilling contests that could go either way. Every goal, save, and whistle could be crucial in determining which teams will join the elite next season.

FC Hunters from the Eastern Region are just four points away from securing a spot in the Premier Soccer League. A win over Masvingo United has seen them move two points ahead of second-placed Tenax, with two games to spare.

The Marondera-based side has boasted a healthy goal difference, and if they overcome their next opponents, they will be tantalizingly close to clinching the title.
