
Bulawayo Chiefs FC have enjoyed a stellar season under the guidance of head coach John Nyikadzino, who has impressively led the team through 19 matches without a single loss.
With 13 wins and six draws, the Chiefs have scored 28 goals and conceded only seven, collecting a remarkable 64 points.
Nyikadzino’s men have been particularly dominant in recent weeks, ending September on a high with four wins and one draw from five games.
They scored 12 goals and conceded just three during that period, amassing 13 crucial points that kept them at the top of the log. Their most emphatic victories included 3–0 wins over Byo Warriors, Mainline, and Ajax Hotspur Movers.

Speaking about the secret behind his team’s consistency, Nyikadzino highlighted their disciplined approach to both sides of the game.
“We train on the two key principles of football — defending and attacking. Our players understand the importance of playing as a unit, hence the balance in both defending and attacking,” he explained confidently.
The experienced coach also credited his players for their tactical intelligence.
“We have experienced players, and as coaches, our job is to guide them on the preferred tactics for each match. They can easily adapt to the tactical demands of any game,” Nyikadzino said.
That blend of tactical awareness, solid defending, and sharp attacking has made Bulawayo Chiefs one of the most formidable sides this season. As they continue their unbeaten run, the team has set its sights on maintaining momentum and securing promotion to the Premier Soccer League.
