Zimbabwe’s transport and logistics community will converge in Kariba later this month for the Transport & Logistics Summer School, a high-level professional development and strategy forum hosted by the Zimbabwe Institute of Transport and Logistics (ZITL). The event will run from 29–31 October 2025 at the Tamarind Resort, under the theme: “Optimising fleet performance for a resilient and sustainable logistics ecosystem in Zimbabwe.”
Guest of Honour Hon. Felix Mhona, Minister of Transport & Infrastructural Development, will headline the indaba, reflecting government’s acknowledgement of transport and supply chain management as national economic priorities.
For senior managers, directors, policymakers, and practitioners in transport, logistics, procurement, and IT, the Summer School is designed to deliver actionable strategies for improving fleet performance and cost-efficiency in a uniquely Zimbabwean context.

Sessions will cover:

- Insights into procurement and supply chain resilience amid economic headwinds.
- The role of technology and IT solutions in reducing operational risk and optimising performance.
- Peer-to-peer learning from case studies and expert-led panels tailored to Zimbabwe’s transport ecosystem.
Whether you are a logistics director seeking to refine KPIs, a procurement officer aiming to tighten efficiency, an IT professional exploring system integrations, or a policy administrator tasked with streamlining government transport, the programme is designed to sharpen both strategic thinking and operational practice.
The Summer School brings together an authoritative line-up of experts, including Mr Washington Dube (SFAAZ CEO), Alfa Nhanhanga (CEO of African Aquaculture), Eng.
