The Premier Soccer League (PSL) Disciplinary Committee has handed down a stern judgment against Yadah FC and its executive member, Spencer Muvadi, following an incident that occurred on August 22, 2025, at the Heart Stadium.
The disciplinary case stemmed from the assault of Yadah FC goalkeeper Godknows Gurure after a league match against Ngezi Platinum Stars FC.

PSL confirmed that Muvadi had been found guilty of breaching league rules and regulations. "Mr Muvadi was found guilty of breaching the PSL Rules and Regulations and the Committee has imposed a fine of $4,000 together with the costs of the hearing," the statement read.
The sanctions against the Yadah FC executive extend beyond the financial penalty. According to the PSL, Muvadi has also been banned for one year from conducting any football business for Yadah FC or any other club within the league. This includes holding official positions and attending matches under PSL jurisdiction. "These sanctions are effective immediately," the league confirmed.
Yadah FC as a club did not escape punishment either. The PSL found the team guilty of contravening its rules and regulations and imposed a fine of $5,000, in addition to covering the costs of the disciplinary hearing. The club has been given fifteen days to settle the fine.
The ruling sends a strong message to clubs and officials within the league that breaches of discipline will not be tolerated, as the PSL continues its drive to safeguard the spirit of the game.
