OK Zimbabwe is rolling out a fresh wave of community-focused promotions in an effort to win back shoppers and revitalize confidence in the country’s struggling retail sector. The move comes after months of supply shortages, price hikes and customer frustration that left store shelves bare and dented the brand’s once-strong reputation for value.
Under the banner “Moving Forward, Stronger with You,” the company is reintroducing its popular Fair Price Movement starting 19 September 2025.
The initiative aims to match the lowest available prices on key grocery items and includes weekly giveaways of fully stocked trolleys to shoppers. The campaign will run for five weeks, offering customers a chance to ease the strain on their household budgets while reinforcing OK Zimbabwe’s commitment to affordability.

Industry observers note that the initiatives reflect a broader trend across Zimbabwe’s retail market, where businesses are experimenting with ways to maintain customer loyalty in a volatile economy. Transparent pricing, creative in-store experiences and direct giveaways are increasingly seen as tools to rebuild trust while attracting foot traffic.
