Revitus Real Estate Investment Trust (Revitus REIT), a licensed collective investment scheme listed on the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange, has announced a dividend payout of US$292,335 for the quarter ended 31 December 2024.
The dividend translates to 0.07937 United States cents per unit.
This declaration marks another significant milestone for the trust, which commenced operations in January 2024 following its registration in November 2022. Revitus REIT focuses on real estate development and investment opportunities, and the declared dividend is expected to reinforce investor confidence in the relatively new trust.
According to a dividend timetable released by the fund, the announcement was made on 18 July 2025, with the last day to trade cum-dividend set for 30 July 2025. The ex-dividend date follows on 31 July 2025, while the record date is 01 August 2025.
Unitholders can expect their dividend payments on 06 August 2025.
The trust has urged all unitholders who have not yet submitted their banking details to update their records through its appointed transfer secretaries, Corpserve Registrars, to ensure smooth processing of payments.
Revitus’ latest dividend payout comes at a time when listed REITs in Zimbabwe are gaining popularity among investors seeking stable returns from property-based assets in a high-inflation environment.
