Highlanders Suffer Key Suspensions Ahead of Matchday 21 Clashes

ZimNow Reporter

Highlanders FC will be without two of their key players for their crucial Castle Lager Premier Soccer League clash against Scottland FC this Sunday.

Defender Arthur Ndlovu and defensive midfielder Mason Mushore are both suspended for Matchday 21, dealing a major blow to the Bulawayo giants as they look to maintain their momentum in the league.

The duo’s absence comes at a critical time for Highlanders, who are pushing to close the gap on the top teams in the league standings. Ndlovu has been instrumental at the back, while Mushore has offered solid protection in midfield, and their absence will undoubtedly be felt when they take on Scottland.

Meanwhile, Dynamos FC will also be hit by the suspension of midfielder Shadreck Nyahwa. The influential player is set to miss Saturday’s highly anticipated showdown against log leaders Simba Bhora in Shamva. With the race for the title heating up, Nyahwa’s absence could prove costly for DeMbare as they aim to halt Simba Bhora’s strong run.

Simba Bhora, currently leading the standings, will look to capitalize on Dynamos' weakened midfield to extend their advantage at the summit.

The Shamva-based side has been in fine form, and playing at home gives them an added edge as they face one of their main title rivals.

Other players suspended for Matchday 21 include Jordan Pedra (Triangle United FC), Washington Navaya (Telone FC), Clemence Zimondi (Herentals College FC), Trevor Mavhunga (Simba Bhora FC), and Spenser Mugari (Bikita Minerals FC).
