Former champions FC Platinum host struggling giants Dynamos at Mandava Stadium. The Norman Mapeza-coached side have been solid at the back but have struggled to find the back of the net, lacking goals upfront. Despite this, they remain undefeated ahead of the final match of the first half of the season.

Dynamos, on the other hand, are riding high after finally bagging a win in almost three months. Their  victory over Yadah has injected new life into the team, and they will be looking to carry this momentum into the match against FC Platinum.

Mapeza believes that his side has the necessary arsenal to collect maximum points at home but will approach the game with caution. "Last Thursday, they won against Yadah, who are playing good football, and this shows that they have character," he said. "We are preparing well ahead of the game, and we will not take the game lightly because we are facing a rejuvenated side. We want to win the game and boost our chances of winning the title, and so far, despite our draws, we are really happy with the progress of our team."

The head-to-head record between the two teams suggests that Sunday's game is wide open. In their previous five league encounters, both teams have managed to outwit each other once and draw three times. This suggests that the match could go either way, and both teams will need to be at their best to emerge victorious.

FC Platinum will be looking to capitalize on their home advantage and solid defensive record, while Dynamos will be hoping to build on their recent win and cause an upset.
