Authorities in South Africa have confirmed 14 people drowned following a flash flood during a baptism ceremony in Jukskei River in South Africa.
Authorities have also indicated that it is believed are members of the Johanne Masowe Baptist Church, believed to be Zimbabweans.
Reports indicate that there could have been 30 people swept away giving rise to the possibility of more bodies being found as search and rescue operations continue.
SA authorities say that they have warned the public to desist from rituals on the rivers in the Johannesburg area because the danger of floods is high following heavy rains over the past three months.
