According toZiocha, the pastor had a prophetic dream where he envisioned a massive fire engulfing the market, destroying livelihoods and causing immense suffering. Despite the chilling vision, the vendors dismissed the pastor's warning, believing it to be a ploy to sow fear and profit from the ensuing chaos.
However, their skepticism was shattered when the pastor's prophecy became a terrifying reality. The fire, which broke out on Tuesday evening, consumed a significant portion of the market, destroying goods worth millions and leaving vendors devastated. Looters, taking advantage of the chaos, further compounded the tragedy by stealing remnants of stock that survived the flames.
While some vendors attribute the inferno to black magic, others are left grappling with unanswered questions about how such a catastrophic event could occur without a clear cause. One vendor questioned, "How did the fire break out without any trace, burning millions worth of goods?"
