A Dzivarasekwa man has been taken to court for stealing a boer dog.
Dominic Dambaza, 29, appeared before magistrate Ethel Chichera, at the Harare Magistrate's Courts accused of theft.
He was ordered to appear in court on October 1, 2024, for trial.
The complainant in this matter is Denny Mandova.
The State, through prosecutor Polite Chikiwa, alleges that on September 11, 2024, Mandova went to bed and left his dog in a kennel.
The court was informed that he woke up the following morning and discovered that his dog had been stolen.
Mandova made some inquiries and recovered the dog from one Kuda who told him that he had found the dog from Dambaza.
As a result the value that Dambaza had lost is US$300.
