An Epworth man who chased a woman to her in-laws' place with his manhood out of his trousers has been arraigned before the court.

Talent Nyabonde, 30, of Overspill, Epworth, has appeared before the Harare Magistrates' Court charged with public indecency.

The State alleges that, on March, 27, 2023, at around 1000 hours, the complainant, Mirian Muringazuva, 18, was on her way to Madzima Farm to see her mother-in-law when she suddenly met Nyabonde who was urinating.

Nyabonde asked her to pray for him and she did not answer but continued walking. Nyabonde followed her with his zip open and his manhood outside his trousers.

He asked to have sex with her but she refused but he chased after her, leading her to run away.

Muringazuva escaped from Nyabonde by hiding in trees.

When she reached home, she told her father-in-law and auntie that she was being chased by Nyabonde.

Suddenly, Nyabonde arrived at the homestead and asked for water. She then told her father in law that Muringazuva was the one who was chasing after her with an open zip.

Her father-in-law called for help form neighbours to help in apprehending Nyabonde before taking him to the police.

Nyabonde was denied bail and was ordered to return to court on April, 6, 2023.
