Twenty Zim learners head to Belarus on cultural exchange programme

Twenty Zimbabwean learners have left for Belarus as part of a cultural exchange programme aimed at strengthening educational and people-to-people ties between the two countries.

The delegation, made up of learners aged between 12 and 15, includes two representatives from each of Zimbabwe's ten provinces.

The learners were officially seen off by senior officials from the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education together with parents and guardians.

The programme is being conducted under a humanitarian initiative supported by Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, which invites children from partner countries to experience Belarusian culture, education and everyday life while interacting with local learners.
