A Hatfield couple has been arrested for allegedly killing their one- month- old baby. The body of the toddler of Fortunate Muchenje, 35, and Joseph Bondoro, 29,
was found with head injuries. The motive of the killing is not yet known as investigations are still under way.
Meanwhile, police have arrested four men for unlawful possession of copper cables. Ishmael Chikumbirike, 34, William Chikunda, 29, Ernest Chivasa, 23, and Tatenda Julious, 25, were arrested on January 16 after being found with 24kgs of copper wire.
The wire was reportedly stolen at the 41 km peg along the Harare-Bulawayo railway line.
