Changes coming for Pennsylvania medical marijuana ID cards

Two Criminal Investigations Department officers recently descended a flight of stairs in terror at Iminyela Flats in Iminyela suburb at the home of a traditional healer after a spooky voice thundered in their ears.

The two officers had been sent to arrest the traditional healer, Thamsanqa Mutisi, 35, for cultivating marijuana in his backyard garden.

The incident occurred January 6, 2023.

It is alleged that when the two detectives approached the witch doctor, there was a misunderstanding between the two parties. Mutisi felt disrespected when the two officers commanded the witch doctor to accompany them to the police station.

The traditional healer is reported to have gone into a trance when he pointed his rod at the two officers while threatening them with a lightning strike.

A beefed-up squad is said to have turned up later to arrest Mutisi.

The detectives uprooted the plants and took them to CID Drugs and Narcotics while they took Mutisi to Western Commonage Police Station.

He appeared before Western Commonage Court resident magistrate Shepherd Mnjanja facing a charge of planting dagga.

Mutisi insisted the dagga belonged to his ancestors who had instructed him to grow it for healing purposes.

He was remanded out of custody to January 18 on ZWL30 000 bail.
