GZU Alumna Takes Up Deputy Vice Chancellor Role at Adventist University of Africa

 

Great Zimbabwe University alumna Dr Sheron Ndhlovu has been appointed Deputy Vice Chancellor for Financial Administration at the Adventist University of Africa in Kenya, marking a significant milestone in her academic and professional journey.

Dr Ndhlovu, who holds a Master of Commerce in Applied Accounting from GZU, completed her PhD in Business (Accounting) at the Adventist International Institute of Advanced Studies in 2025. She also earned an MBA from Solusi University.

Her strong background in financial planning, resource management and institutional governance has shaped her previous leadership roles, and AUA says it expects these capabilities to strengthen the university’s long-term financial strategy. She takes over from Makhosiwonke Moyo.

“I am deeply honored to serve as Deputy Vice Chancellor for Financial Administration. I look forward to working collaboratively to strengthen our financial stewardship, support academic excellence and uphold the university's mission with integrity and transparency,” Dr Ndhlovu said.

Her appointment comes as Great Zimbabwe University’s Munhumutapa School of Business Sciences continues to expand its regional postgraduate footprint.
