A former football player with now-defunct Premier League Club Motor Action, Devine Sena, is in soup over the possession of cocaine.

Sena was detained on Saturday, pending bail.

The former midfielder for the late Eric Rosen-owned side is also being accused of having an unlicensed gun.

Reports says that investigators from the Drug Unit of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) received information that Sena had drugs at his house. They then searched his house on Friday and found two satchets of cocaine with a street value of US$640 000.

He was also found in possession of a pistol.
