Gospel musician, Mellisa Makwasha popularly known as ‘mother advisor’ is set to release a new song titled ‘Simuka’ today at 10 am on her YouTube channel and next week will be available on all digital stores.
Speaking to Zimbabwe Now, Makwasha said the song is coming from an album to be released this year.
She said the message behind the song is simply an encouragement to people that are about to give up or have already given up on their dreams, visions and callings.
“Sometimes it’s so hard when you know what you carry, you know exactly where you want to go and what you want to be but because of the situation you are in, it seems almost impossible to achieve those things, maybe because of lack of resources, encouragement and mostly simply because it was not yet time,” said Makwasha.
Makwasha also said the song reminds people that when they give up on their callings, they deprive a lot more people who are meant to benefit from their callings and not just their selves.
Makwasha says she is still very much in the game and fans can expect more music to keep coming
