It may be his first coaching job in Zimbabwe, but Romanian tactician Aristica Cioaba is no stranger to Zimbabwean footballers.
The experienced coach has spent 12 years coaching in different African countries, including Tanzania, where he worked with Zimbabwean players Prince Dube, Bruce Kangwa and also worked with Never Tigere
Now tasked with turning around Dynamos' fortunes, Cioaba believes his previous experience with Zimbabwean players has given him a good understanding of the country's football culture.
"Now as I come here to the country with the good football played here, I know what the players want and for good football. I trust my job and management in building a strong team," said Cioaba.
As he begins his first coaching assignment in Zimbabwe, Cioaba said he has already seen positive signs from the Glamour Boys.
"With the short time I am here, I like the fast improvement and fast adaptation to my philosophy," said Cioaba.
The Romanian will make his debut on Sunday when Dynamos face Agama FC at Rufaro Stadium.

Having already assessed the team, Cioaba is optimistic about what lies ahead.
"I have watched some of the two games which were played and I even watched some online, but though I will add some of my philosophy, the team looks ahead to bring good results because I trust my job," said Cioaba.
Speaking on last week's dramatic turn of events at Dynamos, where coach Genesis Mangombe was suspended, Cioaba distanced himself from the situation.
Mangombe was suspended by the club following a string of poor results that left Dynamos struggling in the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League, with the club saying disciplinary proceedings would follow.
Cioaba insisted he was solely focused on his responsibilities.
"I won't lie about this, this is my life and I am a very strict man and I don't know what's going on. I'm new here," said Cioaba.
He added that his mission was to help the club and not to involve himself in issues surrounding his predecessor.
"I just came here to deliver my job. I am not coming here to take people outside but I am coming here to help the club, develop the club, and I don't understand what the situation is going on," he said.
